Differentiation

Why vendor-neutrality must be structural, not claimed.

"Vendor-neutral" has become a marketing phrase. The largest advisory firms sell their own AI platforms, tied to a single cloud provider. Most partners earn money from the platform they recommend, or from the user seats they sell on top of it.

NYMM has no software of our own to sell. No reseller deals. No platform that gives us money to recommend it. When we build software, we build it to fit your business. We publish the list of platforms we use each year. You can check it.

What NYMM will not do in Layer 3

What clients ask about choosing and building AI software.

Yes. NYMM is qualified to assess all three sovereign-hosting options for GCC organizations. Core42 (G42, UAE) runs the Greenshield Digital Embassies framework. Otech (Omantel, Oman) is the first Middle East AWS-accredited sovereign cloud. AWS Bedrock me-central-1 covers UAE and Bahrain. Each has distinct PDPL implications for cross-border transfer restrictions, DPO obligations, and data residency. We map these to your specific geography and sector.

Three phases. Discovery (weeks 1-3): stakeholder interviews, process observation, data-flow audit, exception-handling documentation. We map your rules, data models, edge cases, and internal terminology, rather than impose the standardized models a SaaS vendor would use. Architecture (weeks 3-5): system design built around what we documented, with PDPL data handling, sovereign-stack deployment options, and integration points designed in, not bolted on later. Build (weeks 5-16): two-week sprints with your team in the review loop, working increments validated against real operational scenarios at each sprint close. The Built-To-You Pledge on this page is renewed annually and the audit is published.

The decision rests on three criteria: workflow specificity, regulatory exposure, and integration depth. Buy existing when the workflow is commodity-grade (a ready-made tool covers 80%+ of requirements without forcing process change), PDPL and data residency obligations are met by the vendor's regional infrastructure (e.g., AWS me-central-1, Azure UAE North, G42/Core42), and the cost-to-value ratio at your scale is favorable. Build custom when the workflow is a competitive edge that should not sit on a competitor's stack, PDPL or sector-specific compliance requires data handling no vendor can guarantee (cross-border transfer, sensitive-data Article 23 obligations, sovereign deployment), or the system needs API integration depth beyond what vendor connectors deliver. The assessment runs in the first two weeks of the engagement and is documented as a written recommendation before the build commits.
