When everyone has the same AI, the decision becomes the edge.

AI made speed cheap. In Arabic and English, this is what we believe it means — and why every important decision begins with understanding people.

Cards Essay

In 2024, AI made speed cheap. What a team of analysts used to do in a week, a tool now does in an afternoon. The cost of getting the work done fell faster than anyone had modeled, and it kept falling. That is not a forecast. It is the ground everyone is already standing on.

And here is what most people miss about it. If AI made the work cheap for you, it made the same work cheap for your competitor. When everyone can rent the same intelligence, having it is no longer the advantage. The software stops being the edge. The decision becomes it.

That shift is the whole story. Speed used to separate the good firms from the rest. Now speed is a commodity anyone can buy. What cannot be bought off a shelf is judgment: reading the person across the table, seeing the shift before the market does, and getting the right person into the right room at the right moment. The tools do not do that for you. People do.

This matters more, not less, across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. No two markets here are the same. Different rules, different regulators, and business that still moves through relationships built over years, not tenders. A strategy translated from a London slide deck does not survive contact with the region.

So the real question in every important decision is not which tool to use. It is a question about people. Who is truly influencing the outcome? What motivates the people involved? Who inside your own organization is best placed to lead the conversation? When is the right moment to engage? What builds trust, and what quietly erodes it? Get those right and the deal moves. Get them wrong and the best strategy on paper stalls.

So we did not build a technology practice. We built a firm that helps you understand the people behind every decision — every opportunity, negotiation, partnership, and investment. We combine behavioral psychology, relationship intelligence, foresight, and AI to answer the human questions that decide an outcome: who to trust, who to send, when to move, and how the decision will be read once it is made.

AI is one of the tools we use to do it, not the thing we sell. The right information tells you what is happening. The right intelligence helps you understand why. Understanding people helps you shape what happens next. And the person you meet in week one is the person who delivers in week twelve.

AI takes jobs. AI also builds businesses. The people we work with will not be left behind. They will be the ones building the next generation of champions, because they will read the ground, and the people on it, better than anyone across the table.

This is what we believe. The work that follows is built on it.
